Lovely maybe. Smart less so. Certainly not healthy. And being "energetic" is a problem when your legs are short and deformed, your spine and vertebrae are deformed and you can hardly get enough air to run for longer distance.
Since you mention Thinkpad, here is a personal pet peeve.
A company called StarTech makes ExpressCard devices and USB devices. They make:
* An ExpressCard HDMI capture device (no longer manufactured) that sits flush with the body of the Thinkpad. [0]
* ExpressCard USB3 peripherals that adds one or two USB ports to the Thinkpad and sits flush with the body of the Thinkpad. [1]
* USB3 to HDMI output devices that leave an unsightly dongle protruding from the Thinkpad. [2]
So, what StarTech does not make (and my pet peeve):
An ExpressCard device that adds an HDMI output port to a laptop and sits flush with the laptop's body.
Note that such a product would seem to be a trivial combination of their existing products. I would also expect that such a device would be cheaper to manufacture than the equivalent capture device.
As a non-Muslim with very, very limited exposure to the Qur’an, I’d be interested to know some of your favorite passages you’ve personally saved and/or read often.
Cool app. Simple, to the point, and with actual useful functionality.
Ayah means verse in Arabic but can also mean a miracle. For Muslims every Ayah is an Ayah. There are 6236 such Ayat in the Qur'an.
In the last four months since turning 41, I've restarted my memorisation of the Qur'an and have just completed finishing the longest chapter this morning, all 49 pages of it.
The timeless nature of the Qur'an is such that it speaks to you directly, it challenges you to pause and reflect.
I finished memorising this verse this morning
"God does not burden any soul with more than it can bear: each gains whatever good it has done, and suffers its bad- ‘ Lord, do not take us to task if we forget or make mistakes. Lord, do not burden us as You burdened those before us. Lord, do not burden us with more than we have strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Protector, so help us against the disbelievers.’"
When one of our cats was a kit, he managed to find a hole in the bottom of our box springs and would sleep in there. Once we figured out where his hidey hole was, it was cute, but the first time led to us being sure he was gone forever.
Weirdly, I downloaded this last night. Super easy to set up and works well. I do remember it having google assistant and google home integrations on iOS a few years back, but that seems to be a thing of the past now?
I’ve messed around with tons of “diy” security cameras on various platforms, however, so it’s very possible I’ve misremembered.
