Of course it's ethical...It's unethical by airlines trying to trick the user, in my opinion

no I sent my friends a direct link….shouldn’t have done it... bad mistake :((

You might want to try resubmitting without doing that -

Can I ask people to upvote my submission?

No. Users should vote for a story because it's
intellectually interesting, not because someone is
    promoting it.

When the software detects a voting ring, it penalizes the
post. Accounts that vote like this eventually get their
    votes ignored.

Thank you...I will definitely to that

So the flight search here is called tripdelta. They say that they split up alliances and can so achieve those savings.

Do you think that karma plays a role?

No, I'm pretty sure karma doesn't matter. If the content is really good, original & never posted before then it usually gets some sort of bump upwards. Whether it can make it to the front though isn't certain.

That what I was hoping ;)...

Ok, I get it. What about 500 startups?

But you're right Being in Boston or Boulder can be quite different.

Thanks dexxter, seems to be the only way I guess. Was kinda hoping to discover a secret ;)

Unfortunately, there are no silver bullets. You have to pedal hard. dexxter's comments are a great place to start.

The big secret is to build an email list :)
