The battery size really surprised me. I can see this working well with 1/3 the battery, but 1000lbs is crazy. The lighter motor and removal of the fuel tank will help a little, but replacing a heavy engine in the front with a heavier battery in the back can't possibly work.

How heavy do you think the average medium sized EV battery is? Batteries are heavy.

So, lie about RSU and Bonus?

It seems like base salary would be easy to track, but other benefits would be much harder.

People acclimatize pretty well if you let them. We keep our house at 65F all winter, and set the AC for 85F in the summer and everyone is pretty happy. The payback period on a good sweater is not very long.

85?!?

I've lived in extremely cold and extremely hot/humid places.

I cannot imagine setting the temp in the house that high.

Setting for command is different from actual temp. Plus, humidity is rarely accounted for. A good AC that lowers humidity from 90%+ to 30% and this 30°C home becomes quite comfortable.

Again, you're just built different :-)

We just unplugged our vending machine with similar timing.

So, the answer to "when having less information is better" is "when YOU have less information".

Tailored Industries (the factory) says they have over 300 products that are available immediately as white-labeled items at your custom online boutique. I don't know if any of these designs were customized or not, but it is a surprisingly low startup cost to put together a shopify store and have Tailored Industries make your clothes on demand. You need some photos, and a cool looking brand, and they do all of the hard work. I wonder if I should open up my own shop...

TI says that they offer custom yarn at their "Flagship" level, with a $20k upfront cost. Not sure how that compares to setting up production overseas.

Look at their plan features chart: https://tailoredindustry.com/pricing/boutique

Semi-serious question: can I send a company a letter that modifies the terms and say that continuing to provide me the service implies consent?

Semi-serious answer: No, the company only gave themselves the right to unilaterally amend the terms, not you.

If AI and robotics reach their logical goals then projects like this are about to become more and more important. I don't mind machines taking all of the jobs, as long as all of those displaced workers don't starve.

Making houses 3 orders of magnitude smaller and cheaper isn't very popular.

But I get your sentiment.
