Google is very unfocused. I've heard very a capable serial entrepreneur say "Google competes with everyone.” I understand his consternation. But I certainly don’t feel like Google has solved this problem for me when I’m fumbling around in Android Gallery.
Why did you feel it's small? We believe it's a huge market. Software development industry as a whole is half a trillion market as per a Gartner report (http://www.gartner.com/newsroom/id/2696317).
We're only using PayPayl to handle payments, employing a feedback system to combat untrustworthy users and in the beginning only allowing Log In with Facebook so users are authenticated to some degree.
