And who tells Meta what to do?

They do what makes money, or what they think will make money.

Love a Cummins. The Bosch plunger pump is like a mini-me engine on the side of the block!

Right, brand new. But I think if the UK government want everyone to be using EVs they really need to help out the used market by incentivising it in some way. I can't get much other than a Nissan leaf or Renault Zoe under £10k second hand, or some massive SUV which I don't want. So then I'll buy an ICE powered car instead...

Maybe it’s the lighting, but that doesn’t look even on both sides to me - that’d bother me more than the sharpness.

likewise - surprised someone hasn't tried to run docker on it yet and reported success/failure.

i have similar on an old dell optiplex, which works really well. I've got lots of raw files in a zfs pool, but they aren't currently backed up anywhere else. any suggestions for cloud storage which works well with rsync?

What a great plot for a Black Mirror episode. Oh wait, it’s real life.

Tried Darktable?

For me it didn't work with Fuji RAW, so I couldn't really use it.

The picture showing the flow of people reminds me of Alexey Titarenko's "City of Shadows" - http://www.alexeytitarenko.com/cityofshadows - both creative long exposure photos.

if you're wondering whether gear matters you probably have enough kit. Get out there and shoot instead!

This was a point I hit with guitars and gear too.

I can't imagine what else I'd need right now, might as well learn to play.

both are just tools at the end of the day!
