I've been exploring what a social network would feel like if it were completely offline and private by default.

BothAngles is my experiment in building a "sneaker net social network." The entire system is designed around user control and privacy.

The idea is simple:

Capture: You use a web-based tool to record a "holographic" video that captures video from your front and back cameras simultaneously.

Own & Share: Instead of uploading to the cloud, you save the creation as a local file. They are YOUR files. The app only opens them locally and never uploads anything. You have total control over whether you share them and who you share them with, person-to-person.

It's an attempt to make digital sharing a deliberate, private, and in-person act again.

The link is a demo of the camera technology. I'd love to get your feedback on the core concept. Is this level of privacy and control a compelling enough reason to use a more "inconvenient" network?
