The problem is that 2 and 3 both fail to capitalize on their more interesting elements. Everything with Smith could've been so much more then what we got (seriously, an AI which probably has never left the Matrix gets downloaded into a real human body and this has...no serious ramifications or crisis for it's identity? Just do the "sees itself as Hugo Weaving thing" and let Hugo Weaving do that on camera because he absolutely could've).
There are numerous, I just read an article recently(than I can't locate now) where a guy watched and reviewed about 6 fan edits. There's gotta be one out there for ya.
I'd be interested to know how the feelings change if theyve owned the piece of furniture for like a year, rather than having just felt the efforts of putting it together, etc. ie. does the value of the build effect drop off a cliff after the efforts of putting it together are no longer relevant to the builder.
Conjecture: The non-builders will have grown attached to it and the builders will be like, this is old and has various shortcomings, I can build something better.
No, you can use a quest 2 to play HL: Alyx on your PC via Oculus Link or Air Link. In that case, all the rendering is happening on your PC, and the quest is just a display. The Quest 2 can't run HL: Alyx itself.
> Under federal law, the general rule is that employers may deduct certain expenses from their employees' paychecks, as long as the deductions don't bring the employee's earnings below the minimum wage
> Some states prohibit paycheck deductions for debts to the employer, or limit the circumstances under which these deductions may be made. For example, state law might require employers to secure the employee's agreement, on a signed consent form, to withhold this money.
The agreement on the website isn't a signed document. Anyway, there are much easier ways to distribute the bonus: just pay once it's achieved.
Huh, most people do not have time and patience to learn all the differences unless they absolutely have to. Back in northern India anyone from southern state is just South indian , no knowledge about Telugu, Kannadiga, Tamil, Malayali and so on.
Similarly in south India I wouldn't be surprised if a typical local think all North Indians are same butter chicken/paneer eating assholes.
It seems like multimillion $ companies everywhere can simultaneously declare widely that mobile is their future, point to stats like 75%+ usage of their services is through the app interface, and then basically their entire dev/maintenance crew is one person stretched across multiple projects already.
I really hope Apple does a refresh of the current ipod touch before they kill the line. Yeah theres all the stuff about screentime and kids etc. but sometimes we are stuck in a horrible waiting room like a hospital ER and you jsut want them to be able to occupy themselves without it having to be an educational experience of some kind (just like the rest of us).
Can even use it for facetime and so only contacts in the devices are grandparents and us.
The iPod touch is so good for that, but worried theyre going to kill it off...
Backblaze has been a godsend for me - I've been paying for years and only used it 2 or 3 times but both were recovery of files I NEEDED and was so so happy to have stored in BB. The ability to pull an individual file as needed has been amazing.
