This has been my overall experience with it since it's inception. They have had years to improve, but just like Blackboard, they failed.

This software was absolutely hated by the students. Not only is it difficult to use for some who have trouble with technology, but it would often score a persons paper with wildly inaccurate remarks to the point that the instructor accused the person of cheating. It made many students cry.

Edit: I'm not sure why my comments are coming up as "dead" but only when logged out. Seems like I am shadowbannned, for some odd reason. Might have to make a new account?

I returned to university recently after 30 years to do a masters degree, and was shocked when a lecturer told me that he had to go to a plagiarism hearing regarding 10% of the students on the course. I'm beginning to realise that "plagiarism" may not mean the same thing it meant in 1988.

You have slightly negative karma. If you make good comments or submissions so that you collect karma or vouches from other users then the situation will improve. I would not encourage you to make a new account since the newness of an account seems to count against it.

Good to know thanks

The majority of us are well aware how these devices create a MITM attack against your phone, but is there anything you found particularly interesting or egregious that we should know about? Especially how LE are using them to abuse every group who desperately needs protection from these devices.

Can it change what I read?

And it's a damn shame. Dangerous as well.

Random sites won't load for me like Netflix for some reason. It works with my wired connection for some odd reason though.

Well said. It's scary how many thing that get classified that shouldn't be.

It's crafty mixing of real classified information with embarrassing information...

"The address of our safehouse is classified, but all the letters we send eachother have the address on the top, therefore all these letters are classified."

I remember reading about that in the Wikileaks disclosures, it's fascinating to think about.

It was publicly disclosed at Indian parliament by PM in 90's after a press leak I think, not sure what Wikileaks disclosed about it.

Wow. All he did was install USB drivers and bam!

I would expect it from Huawei, but not exclusive to them.

Buy it? It does not even need to be pitched because it's true. When American's are struggling to put food on the table it's time to cut all foreign funding.

This isn't "foreign funding." In fact, these students are injecting capital into this country.

And eventually some/many will remain in this country as ostensibly well educated new Americans.

The foreign students are paying full retail price for school. When they return for in person classes they will go back to spending a lot of money in their schools' local economies. Please explain how increasing spending in America harms job growth in America.

This is good news. Along with cutting the scam H1B visas.

Stopping the influx of travelers is just stupid. People "are" money. They spend that money where they are. If they are not here, then they are spending their money elsewhere.

It just increases the value of American's and their assets ever so much. It's very good.

It literally does the opposite.

Removing consumers and producers from a market does not increase the "value of American's" [sic] because it reduces consumption.
