The attorney general (and the DOJ) is part of the executive branch

oh, i should have noticed that too; thank you.

In most US states the employer doesn’t need to provide a reason for dismissal. Whether they do or don’t you may sue your employer or file a complaint with the state oversight agency. In that lawsuit if you have persuasive evidence of discrimination (race, age, pregnancy, gender, etc) then you may win a large settlement or a judgment if it actually goes to trial. The company will provide evidence why they fired you for non-discriminatory reasons.

It may not be the request package itself but a sub dependency. It only has a few from looking at the repo but something like flask can have a lot (especially with the plugins) and that’s a mainstream and well supported library

As someone on one of these drugs long term there are increased risks of some cancers so additional screening is recommended.

I’ve been on infliximab for a while. My insurance (in USA) pays about $1800 for the drug + the 2 hours of time in the infusion center. It’s even cheaper (for the insurance company) to do an at home infusion.

She was sold as a bride when she was 12 so essentially a slave. Her “husband” seems to have abandoned her though but I don’t imagine getting a hysterectomy or tubal ligation for a destitute woman in rural Uganda is easy to come by.

Maybe? But she seems to at least be getting ultrasounds from a dedicated gynecologist.

EPIC is also used outside of the US too, there are famous botched implementations of it in Norway and Finland. It’s not just a USA problem

Indeed. The biggest hospital where I live (Trondheim, Norway) is still running at reduced capacity and over budget a year after moving to an Epic derivative. Doctors and nurses are burning out, many talking about moving elsewhere. Being recently retired, I am concerned that this may not be a safe place to grow old, if the hospital (by all accounts an excellent one) is dragged down by this horror of a system.

These auto mowers are so light they generally don’t make much of a pattern in the grass at all

It's not the weight of the mower that makes the patterns. it's the direction of the suction, the direction of the rotation and cut. Sure, the wheels can leave a depression, but it's the cut that is important.

There is no suction afaik, and they cut so regularly (my neighbours use it daily) so the pattern have no time to settle.

I can’t imagine any commercial data center here in the US using less than 240V

Databricks was started by the creators of Spark which was/is an open source library. This looks to be aiming for a similar goal.
