Thanks for your advice!

I did apply to those roles, but I would always get rejected. Do you have any advice on getting in through the side to such technically demanding companies? Should I just shoot my shot at these startups even though I have less experience? I graduate this december and I would start in August of next year. I was thinking of just cold emailing to see if I could just intern or help out in any way.

Thank you for your advice!

I'm still currently applying as this is my last semester to new grad roles to see if I can get anything better. I think what I decided on (not sure if I'll feel the same way in 3 yrs) is to take the job offer and if I can't pivot or get a job I enjoy, I'll apply for a masters. Tbh I feel I don't know what I like or don't like due to my limited interactions with industry and as you said the grass is not always greener on the other side.

would an undergrad degree suffice for those roles? I would assume that they want graduate students. I will take a look!

That's what I was thinking. I'm coming out of college and have a lot to learn swe wise so it would be very good for me to actually grind it out now. Part in the back of my head is saying I'm just trying to chase the new shiny thing rather than just focusing on my fundamentals.

I'm just having some fomo I think. It's a shame that this year is when a lot of the math started clicking for me in ML.

This is really interesting! Are you guys hiring interns for the summer?

We're open to it! DM/Email us and we can see if it's a fit
