The people who were the best at something don't necessarily be the best at a new paradigm. Unlearning some principles and learning new ones might be painful exercise for some masters.

I was a MLE Tech Lead at Snap and laid some of the foundations of the generative AI infra at Snap. I would highly recommend MLE route as a very rewarding career path.

I have been working in generative models for image generation. Our recent paper proposed a new system to autocomplete user’s sketches, acting as a recommendation and autocomplete tool for image synthesis (https://youtu.be/T9xtpAMUDps). I have also developed a product based on alexa and launching the app version of the product.
