The article has "4 Reasons Mobile Games Are Not As Fun As They Used To Be." Let me know your thoughts!

Would love to know ur thoughts! I think many people want a lighter phone, but the higher price point with less features than the base model is the main issue.

Don't post sites like macosrumors or 9to5mac. They're not worth discussing, regurgitating "rumors" until they're true (maybe).

Hello HN Community!

I just launched Trivia Snack: a game built for quick, bite‑sized trivia with questions your whole friend group can enjoy.

There are no obscure references—just universally fun, family‑friendly questions.

My inspiration came from Google Assistant's Lucky Trivia, which was discontinued a couple of years ago. I loved playing it with my family, since it delivered a fast, light trivia experience with just a few questions. After failing to find another trivia app that offered something just as simple and fun, I decided to build my own.

Each question has been written by me, and the app is paid to reflect the time and effort that went into creating it. That said, if anyone here would like to try it for free, please let me know in a comment below. I’d be more than happy to send you a free promo code! :)

Thank you for reading!

Hello HN Community,

I recently created a video showcasing my journey of creating Triggered: a native MacOS app that can remap your caps lock key to ANY shortcut!

Please let me know your thoughts. The app is paid, but if anyone where would like a free promo code just let me know below!

Thank you!

Good to know - thx for the reply

Lol yeah on Mac they have you press the command key twice so it doesn't take up a whole new key at least

That makes sense, data entry is one of the reasons I have heard people use it.

Thanks for the link! That is along the lines of what I saw in my research - just like the first couple minutes of this video - https://youtu.be/XuQVbZ0wENE?si=ddSniQLcaP_Tuvmm

Caps lock has an amazing spot without being useful enough to deserve it. I think like another comment mentioned - having a shortcut for locking caps might be better than having a whole key for it..

That interesting that your keyboard doesn't have them to begin with.. I agree having something like caps lock be a shortcut instead of having a separate key for it makes a lot more sense

That's interesting - for some reason I just hold down the shift key even for a couple words - probably out of habit
