Dear HN Readers, We are excited to annouce our new windows desktop application which is a collection of utilities used frequently by designers and developers. The application is inspired by CyberChef (a well known web app) except that it works offline.

We had mini apps that we created over time for our own usage but recently decided to package them together in a Sleek windows app. We hope you might find the tool useful. Currently there are 23 tools and we are trying to add more from what we have.

Looking forward for your feedback Regards, Anshul

Great. That's exactly what I was thinking.

Wow, there we have it, a person who has already implemented this idea a long time back. So what made you shutdown the service? Would you be willing to share your experience?

Simply put, lack of time maintaining it. It was rather a weekend-hack than a polished product.

But you had 100+ users, so the idea was validated.

Thanks for the reply. I understand what you are saying here about asking people if the problem exists. I can actually connect with that part :).

I actually never thought of that idea as a LinkedIn alternative. Rather one thing that came to my mind when I thought of this was 'Dynamic Resume'.

LinkedIn is not specific to software developers. And besides everything has to be added and updated regularly there "manually".

I was asking about a service that can pull data from GitHub (say the projects the user is actively committing currently), the active jobs on upwork, the reviews the developer got on those websites, and so forth.

Hello, EvenCart is an eCommerce software built on top of ASP.NET Core and Liquid View engine and supports Microsoft Sql Server and MySql with an integrated API.

The software exposes various API endpoints to customize the shop using plugins. However the source code will be made available to the enterprises which want to customize the solution for their clients or want to build an entirely new solution on top of EvenCart. The documentation is available at https://docs.evencart.com

Early feedback is very much required for the improvement of the product. Therefore for early adapters, we'd be providing special incentives when the marketplace is launched.

More coming soon :)

I'll recommend Zero AM (https://www.roastedbytes.com/zeroam/)

This looks pretty good, unfortunately it's windows only.
