I hadn’t seen those prior to making it. From memory, the example vs code extension is a typing cat so I just evolved that. I had used the old Windows desktop animals from the 90’s.
Thanks to OP for kicking off the discussion, and to all for the passion on this topic. The feedback has been clear that we need to do a better job of identifying the regions available for our trial offerings. To that end, we have made a change to the Azure portal for our trial users which will now take you directly to the regions that have availability for free tier images.
For those that wish to upgrade to our paid offerings, we have also made improvements to how we handle the legally-required validation steps.
