Author of the article here, thanks for the feedback. I do agree that there's to be more written about it but I see it as a work in progress. Though the internet is not the real world (the vitriol of the online I rarely witness it offline) it is the connection to real world events for most of us and the way the access to information is being walled off, I feel people will be robbed off valuable information sources that earlier generations have been privy to. I don't know if building our own bubbles is an answer, atleast there's a guarantee that it won't be taken down by a middleman.
