There are two types of roles I would be interested in:
- Either building data & analytics tools for data engineers or scientists leveraging both my data engineering past and my broad full-stack knowledge.
- Building up the data infrastructure within a startup as one of the first data engineers fully leveraging my data engineering and architecture skills.

We build algorithmic applications - our goal is to create sustainable business value for our clients using the power of technology & data analytics. Our technology team embeds (machine learning) models into business applications which change the way our clients work. You will contribute by providing end to end solutions using a variety of techniques, such as:
- Building front-ends with VueJS
- Developing back-end servers with python & GO
- Designing (analytical) databases with TBs of data.
- Deploying infrastructure through terraform (infrastructure as code)
On a typical project, lasting a few months, you will help build new algorithmic applications from scratch using the techniques described above. We strive to create solid and valuable software within reasonable time frames.

As a side project, a friend and I are developing a probabilistic scheduling tool "Probaplan". It not only uses PERT but also incorporates risks for more accurate scheduling. Using the planning, risks and PERT distributions we simulate the project in a monte carlo simulation. The result is a distribution of simulated end dates, these dates can be used to say: The probability that the project is finished before June 2016 is 80%.
