That is exactly what IBM thought too when they allowed Bill Gates to license the new OS they were supposed to be making for IBM. They had no competition, who are these kids going to sell their OS to?
This is a great insight into pretty much any blogger's mind who has been blogging for a long time. I started blogging back in 2004 and I still blog but the reasons why I still do have changed.. When I started it was more journal based, then I started writing on social issues which eventually made me a better writer, good enough to get published in several literary publications and now l feel like going back to personal journal like writing again. The common thread, however, has always been that I have first written for myself and that it has given my thought process a certain clarity. Thanks for sharing this.
You are forgetting one thing - most Indians knew it and believed it back in 2001 but now there's a whole generation who has been brainwashed to believe that the whole western world's media is against India because they don't want to see India be a power. They genuinely believe in this. These are the people who were probably 5 year olds then and are now in their late 20s or early 30s.
Obviously they don't think why they want to be a "superpower" when we still don't have clean water and our air is getting worse (literally unliveable by global standards)
Most Indians still know, it has been covered continuously these past two decades. Or maybe I am in the wrong information bubble. BJP’s political opponents won’t allow anyone to forget it.
Most people don't know all the details. They see news that court did not find any evidence and that's all they hear. Everyone wants to stay in a bubble of their liking.
I had even managed scrobbling from the iPod classic. There used to be a windows app that would keep track of all the music listened to since <last scrobble> and would scrobble the bulk, in batches.
