MacOS screenshot tool on steroids: https://cleanshot.com/

It's interesting that all of the good stuff on macs tend to be paid software - ditto with the iOS stuff too.

Sometimes i hate that windows have conditioned me to expect freeware.

I’m not interested in starting a flame war, but am interested to know how many of the users who were being tracked everywhere they go without the app being opened were iOS users and how many were android. Unfortunately the post doesn’t go into much detail.

If you search for Android or iOS within this page, practically everything that happens for one happens for the other

https://www.priv.gc.ca/en/opc-actions-and-decisions/investig...

The report is about the app before September 2020.

I believe location permission controls have improved on both operating systems since then.

Yeah that’s fair too

Yeah maybe, I think most other companies tho would recognize that all of that is such a small part of their business and cut it off.

I’m so happy Apple doesn’t.

Yes, this is one of the ways Apple succeeds -- by being able to make management decisions like spending money on GarageBand and iMovie that would get cut in any other type of typical Corporate America VP structure.

So who made the call to kill iWeb? Or other iLife products that disappeared?

Thought about integrating it with Alpacha?

Is it not on the safari 'store' because of the $99 a year?

Not the OP, but I maintain an extension for using keyboard and mouse on Xbox xCloud.

I'd love to support Safari, and like OP I have it technically working as well, but as the extension is free and open source it's hard to justify the $99 price tag just to share it with the world. https://github.com/idolize/xcloud-keyboard-mouse/issues/13

Feature request: Add in the iOS app safari extension thing so you when you browse to `www.allrecipes.com` or similar it opens in your app.

I guess that's what ratings are for. Who knows if it'll taste good to your taste buds, but if many others like it that could be a good indication.
