No one will see this because I'm shadowbanned but I've always been confused about exponential vs logarithmic. In the authors example about the ruler i'd have thought this was an example of exponential scale in play.


I wish there were more of these for artists who specifically need GPU rendering for their own animations and heavy duty production. It seems like all of this new infrastructure isn't going towards "classic" GPU use cases.


Is it "unfair" or is this just the nature of a geofenced game? I think it's part of the fun.

Is it unfair that if you live in Arizona you're not getting to enjoy polar bears in the wild or even in the zoo?

And before globalism part of the romance of travel was things being exotic/rare and therefore harder to obtain.

If the game had other means to trade or obtain Pokémon outside of wild catches then it still offers players a chance.


I frequent a lot of Australian architecture and design firm websites. 99% of them all have this disclaimer on their site before you can see any content.

Is this by force or is it en vogue to do this in certain industries?
