I was actively looking for something like this and had found this last week. Pine buds pro is another option that gives you quite a lot of control with access to the firmware. But I cant seem to get my hands on any of them. Either the custom duty doubles the price or it is too costly.

Nonetheless open-source ear buds is a big need for the engineering and hacker community.

I was curious when Google would add a small local Gemini model in Chrome and here it is. I think later on there will be an API for using local extensions for Chrome extensions

Most of my days I have lots of YouTube tabs open. Some of them are for podcasts, one for background track or others maybe some interesting video. And I have always been frustrated by this problem of hunting for the Youtube tab to pause the video or reduce its volume. So, I created this chrome extension to help me with it. It's a tiny thing but it does solve my problem elegantly, so I wanted to share it with the community. Looking forward for some feedback.

That sounds interesting. What are you planning to do knowing the patterns? And isn't the data private?

I am making the data available for others to use for academic analysis and/or supporting legal action. The large Canadian grocers are known to price-fix and collude, and it would be interesting to see if there are any patterns in their pricing movements. (My contribution is "getting the raw data")

The data was posted publicly online on the merchants' websites.

To confirm, it is just posted in the sense of crawling the web site, right? They don't post structured data I assume.

Correct!
