Would feel similar if they weren’t the absolute worst in terms of privacy. And if they didn’t buy out the best VR commercial tech and tie it to FB. Can’t use the Quest or Raybans headsets without logging in to the panopticon.

My tool for this kind of problem in my own life has been writing lyrics / poetry. Poetry is nice because you don’t need to close any loops or structure a beginning, middle, and end. You just drop in, spit up some words that convey the core thought, and leave.
I use a second account to watch videos that i think will muck with my recommendations in any way I don’t like. Comedy, political news, music videos, etc… it’s nice to have a separate feed that gets my taste in these things without distracting my main algorithm from focusing on my deeper interests
