TikTok has their own understanding of democracy, defending certain ideas (e.g. Russia in Romania), but at the same time, Twitter also has a certain view (like Donald Trump).
My apologies for the lack of understanding. I am completely ignorant of everything TikTok. Personally, I am already easily distracted/side tracked and I don’t need another thing to keep me on my phone.
My comment was made on the side of the public majority, be it meat space or the ether, holding little regard for a man who’s responsible for policies that have denied care that they payed for. Believe it or not, actions have consequences.
As to comment on “TikTok sleuths”: I would doubt their prowess and abilities to maintain any level of professionalism. They are on a website that is targeting your short term attention span. Long, drawn out, in depth analysis and (what is it) 1 minute max length videos don’t seem a positive mix. Just as I am now, I would assume they are merely speculating. This just seems like another “we did it Reddit!”.
Distributed search through multiple contacts does not always provide tangible evidence. I, personally, would not take random sources over first hand evidence. A thousand monkeys on type writers and only a dozen providing credible information.
Have you ever noticed the large amount of people that will take an influential persons word at face value? What ever happened to trust but verify.
Multiple sources makes the water muddy. With the large amount of people with easily influenced opinions, quick to judgement, I do not see any value in this approach.
If you look through old logs of a certain bulletin board how many did you see providing useful information? The 80/20 rule applies to this.
Hello pessimizer! Please get yourself a few romanian tik-tok accounts, browse as a young man, and you will see what relentless propaganda has been produced. I am sorry this information, ie. the videos, are not widely available on the internet. (like most of the good useful information, if I may add)
This would work assuming the governing and policing system is to be trusted. The reason fire arms purchased with the intent for self defense already demonstrates you don’t.
Not to mention the possibility someone dupes a firearms ID and negates the system.
The idea that you need to buy a fire weapon to self defense against hypothetical encounter with a bad policeman is plain stupid. Do you know what really could help for self-defense against police? A good lawyer. A pistol will just grant that you will die like a dog for no reason.
So after the hypothetical policeman is done doing some hypothetical wrong doing ( assault and the other one ) then I should call my lawyer? There’s more than just the scenario of a policeman writing a ticket that I can dispute with the judge.
It’s common nomenclature that a website costs money to run and maintain. If you’re not paying a premium to use the website then you are going to receive ads to offset the price. This much is well known to the public. It’s implied consent,
The real concern is determining how much or if you are being tracked through these ads. People are more aware that ads do track them but not what or how much. A larger concern is the malaise people may give when they hear this information; to put simply they don’t care. The frog is aware that the pot is getting hotter and they’re willingly asking for the man to go higher.
It seems the poster fell into the downward spiraling “pit of despair”.
I don’t know how to touch upon the topic of “I’m smart and now I’m nihilistic” without also sounding prude. I’m a 20 something as well and when I don’t have something to do with my hands I start looking for problems with useless goals. I grew up homeschooled and was met with this unfortunate disposition of my life revolving around few topics with little variety. You can be sure I was extremely adept at these topics but my understanding of the world around me kept shrinking the keyhole more and more so to speak.
Slowing down and seeing the bigger picture is something easier said than done but it’s a necessity for people who suffer the side effects of this community. I wish you the best.
The purpose of hacking is to gain an understanding of a thing to otherwise manipulate it into doing something it was not designed to do.
Say you have a toaster. This toaster only cooks breads one way. One day you decide you want that toaster to toast bread another way. The rest is up to you.
