Wired had an article last week on "interspecies money" to identify and attach monetary value to everything on the planet - including birds and trees - to give agency to these actors.

Chip manufacturing is a really tough industry. There was a great article on this topic including capacity building, lab and finance requirements and more in Bloomberg the other week.


That was a public-private vehicle so I guess the technology part was more pronounced :)
