Bing Chat does that. It searches internet, goes through results and extracts information to generate answer. Also, gives references as links so you can consider them (filtered) search results.
What you are talking about doesn't really have a good definition. If a windows app consists of 10 files of which 9 are used by other apps too, does that mean removing the only unique file to the app? Should it remove any configuration related to the app etc
My job/work doesn't define me. I have other interests and do other stuff that I like doing and would do even if AI could do them better.
So, if AI would replace me at work and (as seem assumed by OP) financial side is not relevant I would just have more time to do what I want so in that regard I welcome it.
When you copy something, application can put data in multiple formats on clipboard.
When you paste, application may or may not recognize some of those formats and will choose which one (if any) to use.
In your example MS Word will store at least two formats. One is plain text and one is formatted. Which one is used depends on destination application (where you paste).
Others already recommended software that will let you see what's currently on the clipboard. In the past, Windows had application for that.
Similarly, I use Parker's shavette[1] (I believe that's proper word in English). It's like straight razor but with interchangeable blades (same blades as for safety razor).
Also, shaving cream and brush instead of canned foam (better and cheaper).
After initial cost of about 50€, yearly cost is about 10€ for blades, cream and aftershave.
Shavette could last virtually for a life and brush probably ~15 years (trying to extrapolate from mine which is about 8 years old).
