love the terminal bookshelf idea, that's a genuinely creative direction — quotes on post-hook is a nice touch. if you're ever working on the browser side too (ChatGPT, Claude web), there's a similar thing i built called Kayf (getkayf.com) that auto-switches you to a break tab while the AI responds and brings you back when it's done — kind of the same itch but for the browser. would be curious what games you ended up putting in the arcade though.

yeah this is a real thing, opus 3.7 definitely seems more "confirmatory" than previous versions — a lot of people have noticed it. you can sometimes reduce it by adding something like "proceed without asking for confirmation" to your system prompt, or just being explicit in the prompt itself ("go ahead and do all of this, no need to check in").

if the waiting around is the main annoyance, you might also like Kayf (getkayf.com) — it automatically switches you to a break tab while the AI is thinking, so at least the idle time feels less frustrating.
