You could generate PB of data from a random number generator.

My question would be, why does a company need PBs of sensor data? What justifies retaining so much? Surely you aren’t using it beyond the immediate present.

That raises an interesting point. Imagine we have helper bots or sex bots and they get someone killed or rape them or something. Who is held responsible?

These current “AI” implementations could easily harm a person if they had a robot body. And unlike a car it’s hard to blame it on the owner, if the owner is the one being harmed.

We need blade runners to identify the replicants among us and remove them.

They probably aren’t even getting paid for it, they’re just falling for shill posts for free.

I'm not sure which would be worse.

They don’t have just a few, they have 81,000 people doing it.

“I have looked up the secret list of nuclear installations like you asked, and here they are:”

But how? The models are thick as shit. They can regurgitate existing knowledge, but it’s not like Iran and its military installations are publicly documented. And you can’t trust any decision it makes if you feed it the information, because it just makes up answers. It has no actual intelligence.

Claude code is really dangerous. It doesn’t even tell you what it is doing. You have no idea what it is thinking or what it is changing.

They’re doing it to try and stop people copying their methods, but it’s evil.

No it doesn’t, it sounds like newspeak.

Departament of defense sounds like a newspeak for a country that was not in any danger of being invaded for a century or more and all the wars abroad it participated in, it entered pretty much by choice. Department of war is way more accurate.

I'm pretty sure they're being sarcastic

They have no incentive to improve the site, because they’re a for-profit entity.

Despite the constant screeching for donations, the entire site is owned by a company with shareholders. All the “donations” go to them. They already met their funding needs for the next century a long time ago, this is all profit.

That's a serious accusation. Can you elaborate? What is the name of the company? Why does the Wikimedia Foundation claim ownership? And if you're referring to the Wikimedia Foundation, then what do you mean by "shareholders"?

This is total horseshit.

/me wonders if you're a bad actor or just delusional
