Non-traceablity defeats the purpose of a currency. Might as well trade in gold. For most transactions, physical money isn't really needed nor convenient.
Why does non-traceablity defeat the purpose of a currency? While physical money - besides the coins - is tracable in theory, this seems to be only used to limited extend. Nowadays it would not be to hard to do automatically but it would have been impractical to do at scale a few decades back. And even today you could not obtain a trace without gaps even if you wanted to.
I actually like all three parts. Sequels are hard, and considering how a lot of new shows fail miserably in S2, I really think they were awesome. But it is just my view.
I see a lot of shows have 20 mins content for 10 mins of commercials. Does this heading mean, that kids were watching 1200 hrs of TV a year? That is almost 3+ hours a day. Isn't that too high?
Could we replace animated arrows between different blocks, to something that is easier to interpret. I had to train my mind to search for negative/positive sign and current state and then add it and say in my mind "encourages doing things".
Instead of "demotivation", you could use "motivation". So that, we wont have to worry about double negatives.
I would prefer to add weights, to the connecting arrows, to give more detail.

Second this. The other thing is that your diagram layout is defined by the 'weight' you want to apply to a relationship. Sometimes adding a new, less influential relationship will require moving every other node.
I don't want this to devolve into an argument of semantics, but given NYT's editorial resources there's no doubt they carefully scrutinized how the "read" and "write" would be interpreted by their readership in the context of a negative report about Facebook.
