How would you justify the genocide of uighur Muslims in that case? Let's be honest with ourselves. The USA is not the same as China. Let's not lie to each other to prove non issues.
How is this a rational response to what I wrote? You think calling a spade a spade is too much? US is expansionist, that much is clear. Absolutely in no way am I saying that makes the US the same as China in all aspects. Both are unique in their approaches to global domination.
It's easy to be idealistic while sitting at home comfortably . These 2 countries are currently at the brink of war, when one country attacks you, you need to defend yourself anyway you can. I don't see anything wrong in Indias actions. China has long asked for such rebuttal from its neighbors.
Not everything has to be. Sometimes people just voice their opinions. And they are allowed to do so. The same freedom allows you to critique his comment and I, yours.
I tried my level best to read that "article". After about 6 paragraphs it was still on about the authors history and that's when I knew what it was. An advertisement for him. Got the hell out of there. Save your time. Skip this one.
All your replies are arrogant in tone and derogatory to other posters. If you're trying to prove a point you should have to put in as much effort as you are requesting from the others. Provide valid links where the assumptions were wrong and justify your argument. This condescending tone does not suit HN community. I hope someone flags your comments.
You make the allegations so bringing the proof is on your side...
To believe everything a state says well THAT is arrogant..one hint?
-Chemical weapons in Iraq (many times repeated by 'free' media, with a war at the end and no chem found)
And NO i like the HN community exactly because thinking out of the box is normal, just believe what a state like Australia says and the standard 'enemy' is china...that's a dangerous thing. I'm NOT saying it's not true, i just want some proof, otherwise it smells once again foul.
Seems like most companies are doing similar models. May I ask what your startup works on and what are the business impacts that you have felt due to the current situation. It would help to have context so that others can understand why you can afford this. Several other startups cannot afford luxuries for employees at this time due to large losses in revenue.
It seems to me the pyramid needs to be flipped upside down. The amount of knowledge needed at mastery is much higher than at the base level when you are learning the elements. It is oversimplified to say the least. Seems like an average post that appeals to a layman who is searching the Internet for an short guided answer to mastery. I didn't buy it.reads like any other self help book or guide. Sorry. Lastly the 10000 hour thing is far deeper than that. Please read the context behind it. Overall decent for a first post on a hobby blog.

You're confusing knowledge with experience. At the top end of a career you need a lot of experience to build solutions, but that experience is built up (slowly) by understanding first the fundamentals, followed by how-to build tools and solutions, finally abstracting them behind frameworks or SaaS products.
You have to understand TCP/IP before you can fit out an office with a network. You have to understand Python before you can use Django. And you have to understand Django before you can build a SaaS product. And you need experience before you can build anything good.

I might come across as a bit condescending calling it a "hobby blog". It's sort of putting down the OP's efforts, I feel.
EDIT: Apologies for being so crude in my original wording. I'm updating the comment to reflect a more professional, civil tone.
