I heard the secret service ditched him almost immediately after he lost.....

Studies have shown that the first 5 years of a child's life is when the brain develops the most. Proper nutrition and exposure to simple problem solving will significantly increase the chances of the child having a higher IQ.

Damn I feed off that shit too! What I noticed about myself is that I would try so much harder when people tell me I can't do it, I am hell bent on proving them wrong. The problem is that much of my life people have been nice to me......I need more assholes in my life....LOL

Need a nemesis or arch-rival? Here ya go... Quora on how to find one. :-)

Epic article.....thanks!

At a high level I feel like we should be no more influence by those who say we're right than wrong. In a way, being driven to prove people wrong is being controlled by them. Because sometimes they may be correct, and our best bet would be to change strategies, and sticking to our guns just to prove them wrong will hold us back.

I agree. At the end of the day you still have to be pragmatic and intellectually honest to yourself. But if the critique is coming from someone who only heard your concept for the first time or that he/she has no domain expertise in the industry you're trying to get into then you should not accept it too easily. There is always a fine line between being stubborn and having dogged determination.....

Are you guys really using alien technology?

I think "don't die" refer mostly to his ambition and startup....epic!

For our start-up we made a major pivot but it complements the original concept and even expanded it. If a pivot requires significant change in direction and scrapping major elements of your original idea then one really has to think hard before taking the next step.

Actually WePay is moving away its focus from group payments to small stores, merchants, and fundraising.

The next step is to have a reality show about this. A few weeks into it they're gonna start fighting over who took who's toothbrush.....lol

My dad asked me once why I would ever leave my good paying Finance job to start a company with a 1% statistical chance of success. I told him that if you want to belong to the top 1% you have to take the 1% chance of success.

Your company has a 1% chance of success? Where do I sign up?

haha we're still on stealth mode but we're building a system that will open online payments to the rest of the world. We mean EVERYONE!. 80-90% of people in emerging market economies have no access to online payments because they don't have bank accounts or credit cards. Our system will bypass that requirement and just enable people to accept payments immediately, it's that simple. Of course we are willing to discuss/brainstorm our ideas with other entrepreneurs.

I bet couples can find a lot of creative ways to use this, especially the touch vibrating feature. You can vote this comment negatively if you like but this is a very valid point I am making. This is as intimate as any app could get and there is a demand for this. Hey this is reality and we're all adults here. Gives more color to life and we only have one, enjoy it. Good work Pair team!
