It depends if you are ok with 1/3 to 2/3rds of your visitors bouncing due to loading times and losing 3 to 5x of convertion rate depending on sources...

No need to be sarcastic. What page load speed at "slow 3G" speeds do you believe is necessary to avoid that?

Pretty sure this would be a FTE only benefit.

Productivity is already increased, employees just never got the benefits from it.

There's already people with 2-3 part time jobs. I don't imagine if a 4 day work week became the norm, that suddenly it would become the only available option either...

How do you define hard work? Cleaning can require working hard (keeping up when cleaning cutlery etc in restaurant or number of rooms to do is intense) or it can be hard work (cleaning puke out of toilets...).

I would argue that living in the wild in the Yukon is hard work. Isn't 8 weeks the most your friend was employed, rather?

I feel like I would miss out more if I wasn't there to experience the daily changes here. I do travel sometimes, but when asked about my dream destination, that's where I am now. We do get so pulled into traveling to other places that we forget to appreciate and explore the one we come from/are in.

As someone who moved a lot growing up and for my career, not being in one place long enough to really bond with people may be the cause of feeling isolated/not understood, maybe even more so than having more experience with different places and cultures...

During covid, we still had to have a townsite cleanup event to pick up the year's trash. We blame tourists for not having respect but the locals are often just as bad. There's both respectful and disrespectful folks in both groups...

There might also an effect on fish spawning if the temperature is higher, some fish may not return to spawn until the water is cool enough or they have lower chances of survival if they hatch early due to increased temperatures. That is, assuming the remaining water flow allows for passage of fish runs.
