Interesting to see this post because the only exposure I have to Transhumanism is from watching "True Life: I'm a Transhumanist" (maybe it was 'I want to be a cyborg' don't remember).
It's a valid pursuit in theory and this article makes me more interested in finding literature on the subject. But I do hope Transhumanists fulfill their pursuit in a safe and "scientific" manner.
The article contains a pretty cool surface-level visual of written language "coverage". I found it necessary to watch at 2x speed but toggling through the frames is neat.
It's a funny comparison, but makes me ponder "writing spreading around the world" vs "adoption of internet around the world"
