Yes. A digital journal, to be exact. Of things done, things thought, and things to look forward to. It's quite extensive, and I add many things (quotes/snippets/code/readings) to it, and it's a one-stop for everything.

I consider it my digital commonplace book.

Yes, every few days I write down what has happened to me in the past few days, my feelings and thoughts, and most importantly, what I am grateful for. It has helped me a lot in dealing with my emotions, especially since I went through a tough break-up a few months ago.

I try to most days. It’s not quite the “Dear diary…” style, but I find it a helpful way to think through ideas and reflect on what is going on. Also it is quite fun to look back at journal entries from years ago and sympathize with your previous self.

I kept one during the pandemic, but waned as life got on. Nowadays, I will still update my "Some lines a day" 5 year journal daily, mostly as to write down 3 things I'm grateful for. Keeping a gratitude journal basically.

Since reading "The Making of Prince of Persia" (highly recommend) I've tried to journal – roughly once a day – just a way to recount my day to day in the future when I don't remember the smaller details.

Also in a weird way my BeReal has become a bit of a photo diary – I use it pretty consistently on a daily basis. It's crazy how much looking back at a single photo can jog your memory on what you did that day.

Only indirectly. I take quite a bit of notes on what I read, so what's going on in my life inevitably finds its way into my notes. At a minimum, it's reflected in what I happen to be reading at the time.

I keep a diary. But it's hard to record every day, just the most memorable moment or important moment in life.

yes i keep it in my handbag
