SmartAsset is looking for a QA Analyst to join our Product & Tech Team, on a full-time basis. We build technology that algorithmically answers personal finance questions, given the importance of our advice, we can’t be wrong… ever. You will be responsible for drawing up test plans, tracking bugs and issues, testing our product and ensuring our advice is working as intended.
Responsibilities:
* Working with the Product and Tech teams to construct test plans
* Working with the Product and Tech teams to test and verify intended operation of product features and bug fixes
* Build automated test systems
Requirements:
* Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
* Working knowledge of software development, particularly with Java, Perl, PHP
* Working knowledge of unix shells (bash, sh), databases (MySQL)
* Working knowledge of some Web-based automated testing tools
* Some experience with web development (HTML, Javascript, CSS)
* Self motivated with an entrepreneurial approach to tackling problems
