iCracked.com started on a college campus repairing iPhones 2 years ago and we now have over 320 iTechs in 10 countries and are growing like crazy. We are Y Combinator backed, profitable, and have incredible investors and customers. We are looking for a lead hacker to come join our family. We’re out repair the world and become the "AAA of Smartphones."
We have an incredible team of 15 people in Redwood Shores on the bay (next to our sailboat of course) and we’re actively searching for another great back end engineer to work with our designers / front-end / iOS team to bring together the ultimate on-demand online/offline experience for hundreds of millions of our future customers.
We move fast - We build iterate and ship constantly so you will be pushing code to production Weekly/Daily/Hourly. This is a big picture position, you will be integrating with our existing code base and writing for the new exciting projects we have in the pipeline.
You wouldn't be starting new job, you would be joining a family. We have the best customers and the best investors in the world. If you're the right person for the team, compensation is important but should be secondary- although we take care of everyone extremely well. Your salary and equity is determined by how awesome you are and is negotiable to just about any number.
What we’re looking for in you…
• Innovative Hacker - like manipulating data and finding new ways to build out back-end systems. We have a ton of great problems to solve together.
• PHP Required - Online store, Authorize.net, and Stamps.com experience a major plus.
• Manage the stack - we are deployed on AWS/LAMP so changing Apache settings or recompiling PHP to add modules etc.. should come naturally.
• RESTful API Design - to be consumed by our mobile apps.
• Ruby or Python experience a plus.
• Great to be around!
