Hi, we're MixRank. We're using big data to dramatically transform how digital advertising is bought and sold. We've been growing quickly, and we're looking for someone with digital advertising experience to join us as our Director of Sales and Business Development and help accelerate our growth further.

IN A TYPICAL WEEK YOU MIGHT BE:

   * Demonstrating our software to key decision makers at major agencies and explaining how much easier their job could be with our technology.
   * Studying the latest strategies in persuasion and compliance gaining. 
   * Working on a report or story with members of the press.
   * Negotiating a major distribution partnership with C-level executives at a public company.
   * Setting up co-marketing deals with other adtech companies and building your name in the industry.
   * Presenting at a trade show or industry conference.
THERE WILL NOT BE ANY OF THIS:

   * No more high-pressure, aggressive sales. You'll be educating highly interested prospects about a product that clearly solves a massive, burning problem for them. This is not a job where you have to trick people into buying something they don't need.
   * No more cold calling, ever. We have an overwhelming amount of inbound leads coming in every day through our marketing efforts and our self-serve product at mixrank.com, so we don't need to annoy people who don't want to hear from us.
   * No more wasting time prospecting. We have lots of data on our prospective customers and have built sophisticated internal tools to automate lead generation. You should be focusing on selling, not trawling LinkedIn for cold leads.
   * No boredom. You won't just be selling the same thing to ad agencies over and over. We've seen interest in our data from hedge funds, journalists, and academics to name a few. In a rapidly evolving startup, every sale is a unique challenge.
REQUIREMENTS:

   * At least 2 years experience in sales or as an account executive at an advertising technology or enterprise software company.
   * Experience working in a startup or a rapidly growing sales organization.
   * Ability to self-manage and thrive in a flexible, independent environment.
