Embedly is looking for a Frontend Engineer
on July 27, 2012 | hide
Embedly is looking for a frontend engineer to make our web experience a better one. Right now we have a dashboard that allows users the ability to see simple analytics, protect their key and manage their organization. We have found this is rarely used, mostly due to neglect.

We are looking for someone with strong frontend development skills. You are familiar enough with the backend that you can write some Python, but the majority of your time will be spent in HTML and Javascript. You know how Photoshop works.

We want to make the development experience with Embedly a better one by proactively stepping developers through the process of adding the service to any site. Your job will entail finding the pain points for developers, and fix them.

This position will transform into what the cool kids are calling a "Growth Hacker". There is a lot of room to grow and learn in this role.

Right now the core technologies are:

* Django

* Node.js

* jQuery

* Some bad graphing libraries.

If you are interested in working at a "fast paced startup" and "having your actions directly effect the bottom line" or other clichés startups push, you should drop us a line.

If you have a resume great, but we would rather a github handle, linkedin handle or a portfolio of some kind.

We are looking for someone in the Boston area, solely because we are horrible at working with remote employees.
