I don't like the "wrapped LLM for business" angle. It just seems like an unnecessary intermediary/middleman layer when (1) any member of any team can just query GPT-4 directly, and (2) you can easily upload documents and logs to GPT-4 and even directly to ChatGPT. These are features that you don't necessarily want to have "always on" and in public.

In fairness, I suppose there could be a good implementation of the concept. But it would have to bring something substantial to the table that ChatGPT doesn't, and it's not clear that Glue does this.

Convenience always wins. Of course an employee could upload documents one at a time to chatgpt and ask questions, but having a shared environment with your corporate knowledgebase (Notion, Slack, Drive, etc.) is going to be much more convenient.

It's like saying Slack isn't super useful because you can already send messages and files by email.

Now who knows if this particular product will win, since there's probably a hundred similar products on the market. But I'm confident some variant of "gpt wrapper for business" will do quite well.

At the same time, MSFT and Google are well on the way to offering this type of service in their Office/Workspace products, obviating the need for 3rd party SaaS
