I've been using Linux Wacom Project[1] drivers with success, but this seems nice, with its GUI (and supports more things). Using `xsetwacom` can be a bit fiddly to get right. I wonder what happens when both are installed...
one should note this is the only reliable way to configure graphics tablets in a wayland session. I made a video about it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKC44MRRjR0 : )
Oh this is interesting, I’ll have to give it a try. I’ve got a circa 2005 Intuos3 9x12 that I currently use with official drivers hacked to run on modern macOS[0], but their functionality isn’t perfect (bits of its System Preferences settings pane are broken, mainly) and presumably the hack won’t continue to work forever.
I've got an old Yiynova MSP19U that was my first tablet, unfortunately reliable driver support was discontinued after Windows 7. I've since upgraded to a Wacom Cintiq. Just yesterday my daughter asked if she could use the Yiynova, hopefully they could add support to this for that tablet in the future and I could tell her yes.
The Windows Ink plugin used to have issues interfacing with it's plugin API. I've tested it and it's working again. This is great since most tablets have sucky software in my experience.
