Surely the sharing of such sensitive personal data should require people to opt in, rather than opt out? I am in the UK and I haven't seen or heard any government information campaigns about this - no TV adverts, no billboards, no banners on websites, nothing in social media newsfeeds. Mainstream news coverage has been thin, at best.


It's a big Tory lie, their big corporate allies want their dirty hands on this medical information. Yet all is not lost, you can deny them acces to your records using the NHS app to opt out. This is the bit, they didn't tell anyone they could opt out.
