Based on purely anecdotal experience, I think bootcamps aren't necessarily putting out productive entry-level developers. We briefly hired someone as an entry-level web developer who would talk a bit about how he was teaching some web programming classes in the evenings (at the bootcamp he just graduated from). He did not have the knowledge to be to be teaching classes. We had to let him go. We have hired several entry-levels from state schools who have been very successful with us, by comparison.
