For me this is the silver bullet. I'm only in my early 30s, but corporate management is a mixed bag so if there was a company where I actually had faith in the management, they'd have me for life. That said, I'm coming up on a 10-year tenure already (not always programming, but different roles within the same company), so it's not all bad.
