I find these allegations hard to believe. Google is one of the most progressive "big tech" companies out there, committed to diversity and inclusion. Susan Wojcicki, a woman, is a CEO of Youtube division and she is blocking all "hate speech" that is "directed at women". I remember, in an interview, Susan Wojcicki was asked about of example of sexist behavior at Google and she ready relied that "men try to interrupt her sometimes". I could not imagine a better defender of women rights. I am sure that Chelsey Glasson herself was very supportive of these policies while she was Google. So she must know first-hand, how supportive Google is of women. And now she is suing them. I am not sure I buy that.

One person can’t change everyone’s personality and shortcomings, only implement policy and direction in the company. Surely you don’t believe that with one progressive person at the top, everyone in the company suddenly drops their internal biases?

I wish that for every story like this I see I could read all the documents, and drill down into the evidence and testimony until the actual unique, grain of the truth emerges. And based on that, a portrait of the people involved in the setting they were in: not just a decision saying who's right and who's wrong, because one bit is not enough information.

So you are having a hard time believing this story because the Google PR machine led you to believe otherwise?

No only Google PR machine but also removal of Google-unfavorable news from their search index helps as well.

Article feels incomplete. There should be other sources to independently verify google's claims of finding "no fault" and/or her own claims of fault.

The article offers neither.

At least try and state "no one could be found confirm X , or Y claims". Not even anecdata.

Unfortunate.
