Also note that Google doesn't index everything they crawl.


Interesting experiment, but in this form it doesn't give a lot of information. E.g. what if the crawler was at 90% of its crawlspace when the word was added (and the website happened to be in the remaining 10%)? Also, like the author says, N=1.


Or you can just check indexing status on the Google Search Console.


Also, this is a blog post of a 3rd party and not a Google blog post (which is what I expected)


what if someone explicitly request the indexing of the page right after the change, will it take similar time?
