Job DescriptionWe're a well-funded pre-Series A stealth startup located in San Francisco, CA (moving to Palo Alto in August) and looking for awesome engineers of all kinds to help us build the next generation payments platform. We're primarily a Python shop, but we're open to all types of hackers, particularly those with a knack for solving hard problems. We also need one or two Rubyists.
We're looking for reliable individuals with self-direction and a passion to build an extremely valuable, sustainable company. Your work will immediately impact hundreds of businesses, and you will help facilitate millions of dollars of transactions.
We want GREAT engineers
- Strong analytical background (e.g. math, physics, computer science, electrical/computer engineering)
- Strong programming experience (i.e. you've actually coded ;))
- Comfortable with SQL
- Comfortable with web technologies

- Our two founders and our first employee were all early employees at a startup that had a successful exit.
- One of us uses Emacs, two others use Textmate. You can use whatever you want.

Our Technologies
Python is used for almost everything from the web-frontend, to our API. We use SQLAlchemy, Mako, Werkzeug, Fabric, Gunicorn, and much more. jQuery and Backbone.js are used for some of our internal and client facing tools. We also have PHP and Ruby client libraries.
