As a non-user of Facebook (and a non-American), I'm curious to hear what kind of critical decisions favored conservative supporters? It seems like giving any voice to conservatives is considered a PR suicide right now. I'd be surprised if FB did that.

(whether this is only within the tech world or a broader point of view in America will soon be discovered come elections time)




Here is one recent article on the topic, but google around FB has been hiring Republican operatives to try to quell the abuse, among other things.

As a US American and non-FB user, I can say it is fairly obvious in the way Republican politicians attack them, and how they respond. There's a strategy Republicans use with the press, and it wouldn't surprise me if it isn't obvious to those who haven't seen it play out before.

tl;dr conservatives bitched that social media has a liberal bias and social media moguls started listening. Same thing with twitter.


They don't do as much censorship of conservatives as liberal censors would like.
