Well, the article is about the author's 10 favorites, not the 10 best ever, or 10 most ground breaking, etc. So, basically an opinion piece....

Maybe it's the nostalgia talking, but so many of those games were great! I could easily name 10 more off the top of my head. Many of these old games still hold up today.
