I can't find viewership numbers but I'd be surprised if the Paul McCartney video in question has been viewed anywhere near as much. If anything many have accused the Blackadder series in question of largely shaping modern perception of WWI

You don't remember it depicting a football game because it didn't - it comes up as one of the characters reminisces about the Christmas truce.
