Nanotech is the future, the distant future, but a very bright and interesting time to live in.
Besides all the new nano-materials, I am interested in nano-food production. Remember the food pills? something like that. World hunger would be over.
And before someone jumps in to say it would taste like plastic food, I say, what would stop us from adding the best flavors in the world to the nano-pills?
After thought: If we can produce food in a factory from its basics atoms, like we process gasoline today in refineries, I guess all farms in the world would be useless so we could recover all that land for human living.
