about:Author of http://www.tudumo.com and currently building a lifestyle business. I've worked with many languages and technologies () professionally, but what I love about HN is that there will be better coders/experts in all of them around here, so there's much to learn even (especially?) after 20 years in the business. Currently doing a lot of work with Google App Engine.

I studied business at some point and I don't particularly share the HN disdain of b-schools. They're what you make of them, and there's a lot of awesome stuff to learn.

Similarly, I think there's a bit too much anti-copyright groupthink around here, which is weird for a bunch of people who are trying to create startups they eventually want to earn money with. If we won't uphold our own IP, can we expect the Chinese et al to care less about our laws?

Including Java, Javascript, jQuery, GWT, C#, C++, Python, Perl, PHP, ASP, Delphi, with SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, Gemstone, DB2, on Windows, Linux, Irix, Solaris, in areas from web development, virtual reality, some banking, and semantic web related projects.
