Do we know if other governments don’t already do the same thing?

Trying to bracket-down the problem a bit, does this seem fair?

1. Ideological purity tests, as opposed to anti-fraud measures.

2. Investigation when issuing visa, rather than border-searches by customs etc.

3. Applies to tourists and students, as opposed to other visas which are part of a path to permanent residency.

Market manipulation.

Where’s Egypt in all of this? They also have a border and they also keep it shut.

Israel has de facto control over all of Gaza's borders and has since 1967.

Israel doesn't allow goods to be imported into Gaza from Egypt, all goods have to go through Israel. That is why there are tunnels. Only people are allowed by Israel to cross the border to/from Egypt but Israel also decides who gets to enter Gaza.

Egypt is a sovereign state with complete control over their side of the Gaza border.[0]

They do consult IDF and Israeli government, but the narrative, that Israel is 100% controlling all borders to Gaza is not factual and untrue.

There’s two sides to every border

What do you even do with so much money? It’s just a text editor

If someone has experience with both startups and big Tech, that’s great. If they’ve only been through big Tech, they are most likely useless for a startup.

Small part of me wonders if this isn’t a publicity tactic to make headlines for an otherwise unknown app.

I don’t know about you, but for me, one of the greatest joys in life is being able to hire people and give them good jobs.

There is very little correlation between hours worked and overall output. And definitely has nothing to do with the end result. You could have the best product, best people, best price, and still fail miserably. Anyone thinking they can “work” their way out of it is in for an expensive lesson.
